Amanda Bowers, Closing Paralegal, Real Estate
Amanda has worked as a real estate paralegal in the Lake Norman area for 9 years. Her main focus is to work closely with real estate agents and lenders to give clients the ultimate purchase experience. She attended Central Piedmont Community College where she received an Associates degree in Paralegal Technology. She also attended the University of Phoenix where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. Outside of work, Amanda enjoys going to church, playing video games with her son, spending time with family, and shopping.
Denise Belle Isle, Bankruptcy Paralegal
Denise was born and raised in Northwest Pennsylvania and moved to the Lake Norman area from Wisconsin in 1996. She is a US Air Force veteran, has a variety of experience in the areas of Accounting, Payroll, Taxes, Lease Administration, Human Resources, Licensing and Compliance for multi-state employers in the racing and restaurant industries. Denise has been working in bankruptcy law since 2012. Denise now resides in Wisconsin and works remotely with Northpointe Law.
Denise enjoys spending time with family and friends and when she has free time enjoys baking, reading and traveling.
Carolina Guiterrez, Paralegal
Carolina was born in Colombia, South America, and moved to Charlotte, NC 13 years ago. She has worked as a paralegal in a firm that focused on Personal Injury, Immigration and Family Law. She has also worked as a Logistics Coordinator for a freight transportation company prior to joining Northpointe Law Group in 2016. Carolina assists in the areas of estate planning, personal injury and administrative matters.
She currently resides in Lake Norman with her husband and two kids. In her free time, she likes to read, travel and spend time with her family and friends.
Wendy Penninger, Real Estate Paralegal
Wendy Penninger is a paralegal in the real estate practice group. Wendy has over a decade of experience in real estate and assists with all aspects of the firm’s real estate practice, including the preparation of real estate conveyance documents and performing real property searches.
Wendy was born and raised in Huntersville, NC. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and traveling.
Robbin Vernon, Real Estate Paralegal
Robbin has been in the real estate industry for over 20 years, with the last 12 as a real estate paralegal. She is highly organized, strong in title, a master in production of settlement statements through Softpro. Most importantly she takes pride in her proactive approach in getting loan packages timely to produce a smooth closing experience for our clients.
Robbin works remotely with Northpointe Law from her Greensboro home.
She is happily married to her high school sweetheart, Tony and enjoys spending time boating and jet skiing with her husband and friends.
Liz Sturgill, Law Clerk & Marketing Representative
Liz earned her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina- Chapel Hill and her J.D. from the Charlotte School of Law. Born to Ecuadorian parents and fluent in Spanish, Liz is a passionate advocate for the immigrant community which sparked her interest in law. After working at a workers’ compensation firm for 8 years, she joins Northpointe Law Group to expand her legal knowledge in different practice areas, as well as further enhance her experience in law firm management and marketing.
Liz enjoys spending time with her husband, Isaac, an attorney at Legal Aid of NC, and cheering on her young son on the athletic fields. She also loves discovering new vegetarian meals, singing karaoke songs, and spending time with her extended family.
Debbie Vancil, Estate Planning Paralegal
Debbie comes to Northpointe Law Group as a paralegal and executive assistant with Network Legal Associates for more than sixteen years. She also served concurrently as back office support for CG Financial Services of North Carolina/Network Financial Strategies for three years. She is certified in Quickbooks 2015 Pro/Premier has strong experience in individual tax return preparation.
Debbie’s role at Northpointe is to serve as the liaison between the clients and attorneys as well as to prepare estate documents. Debbie has a knack for attention to detail and will tell you her first priority is always exceeding the expectations of the client experience.
In her spare time, Debbie pet-sits and enjoys painting, piano, and travel.
